The Maple Syrup Diet, also known as "Master Cleanse," is great if you wanna lose 3-5 pounds really fast, and then gain it back next week. I don't have any idea what the detoxing effects are, but I do know that this "lemonade" tastes like crap and you will be very hungry. Avoid walking by any pizza shops with open doorways.

This is SO gross...I'd never heard of it! Thanks for shedding some light on the crazy things people will consider. Do they drink it instead of eating whole meals? It doesn't sound too tempting LOL...
One of my coworkers at a fashion mag was on this diet for a couple of weeks and she was always very moody. She did say that it was nice to have so much "free time" during the time when she would normally be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Odd perspective, but for some reason she enjoyed the challenge. Have you heard of Blueprint Cleanse? I think it's like this one only more expensive. There are so many crazy fad diets out there!

Haha, free time! What a strange concept. I have heard of blueprint cleanse. Honestly, I don't think I'll try it. I did the Master Cleanse for two days in college, and it really didn't do anything for me. I guess it's fun to try once, but ultimately, it's not worth the pain and the hassle. Eating food is good for you! Oh! One last thing. Gwenyth Paltrow has a cool detox diet up on her website, Goop. It looks nice - just super light, refreshing meals you make at home.

@LingEatsCake recently reviewed Goop on Lunch, but I hadn't had a chance to check it out yet. Thanks for the tip!
