An easy to use and well rounded Anti-Virus & Security software

Well, I've been using the 2010 McAfee Internet Security program for a few months now, and overall I think it's a pretty simple to use but well-rounded program. In the past I've used many Anti-Virus/Internet Security programs and from all the ones I've used, I think McAfee and Norton are the two most reliable, easy to use, and well-rounded. Excellent Virus and Adware Scanner But Mediocre Firewall

The main features of this suite are the VirusScan, Adware Scanner and the Personal Firewall. I like the VirusScan and Adware Scanner. For the Personal Firewall, I suggest you go with a more robust application such as Comodo or Online Armour. McAfee Internet Security 2010 provides improved security

My household has used McAfee several years ago and I didn't think it was very user friendly. Well, this version does the trick. One feature I like a lot is that the scanning software throttles back when you're playing games or watching movies. It defers scans and other processing while the system in full-screen mode or on battery. There's nothing worse than getting killed off in a FPS when your system decides to do a virus scan. This product sells for a couple of dollars more than McAfee's AntiVirus Plus 2010 package. In addition to the features described below, it adds protection against phishing sites that attempt to mimic bank and other sites and get your personal information and parental control software that lets you limit internet activities as a way to protect your children.
