Second time was the charm, but the third makes it better yet.

Mega Man kept on rolling in the 90s from the 80s with Mega Man 3. To me at this point, each game was an improvement over the other. Maybe the soundtrack isn't as memorable as Mega Man 2's, or some of the weapons aren't as cool but the game offers far more game play with tightened controls and more levels over the other two games at a time when Mega Man was still fresh and fun, before the games felt tired, but could still be fun. A Quick Tip by Madpenguin

In the original Megaman series, this second sequel was an instant hit with me. The robot battles were a lot harder, and the stages had some imagination. But what stood out to me the most was the soundtrack. Out of the entire series, this along with Megaman 8 are the ones I come back to the most.
