In the wake of its impending launch, the Surface Pro will also be made available soon. Microsoft is reminding users of Windows 7 RTM that support is ending on April 9, 2013, which is less than two months away. This comes roughly 24 months after the release of Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and is consistent with Microsoft’s usual support practice for Windows. This will continue till January 13, 2015, as long as you’ve the supported service pack.
