This is a good idea. It is like a refillable version of a can of cooking spray. By filling it yourself, you can be certain that what is in it is just oil, with no additives. I was pretty surprised to learn that many cooking sprays contain silicone oil. Safe to eat, but that doesn't mean I want to!      Unfortunately, the spray turned out to be pretty weak. It also takes a lot of pumping to get enough out. Oil is a fairly viscous liquid, so it is hard to pump it out using only …
