About this topic

"My Love" is a love song by Paul McCartney and Wings, and is the most successful track from their 1973 album Red Rose Speedway. McCartney wrote it about his feelings for his wife Linda, who was also in the band. The song was also released as a single in March 1973, reaching number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number nine in the UK Singles Chart.[1][2] The song also went to number one on the Easy Listening charts for three weeks.[3]

The song also appeared on the Wings compilation album Wings Greatest and the Paul McCartney compilation album All the Best!. A live version appears on Good Evening New York City.
