Nike Air Force One Premium - Los Angeles Edition

2 Ratings: 5.0
The shoe designed by Mr. Cartoon to honor the City of Los Angeles.

The Air Force One Premium "LA" Edition was released to stores throughout Southern California in the summer of 2006.  The retail value of these shoes were $110, and were available in limited numbers.

After major cities were continuing to have shoes dedicated to their honor, Los Angeles finally got theirs with the Air Force One Premium "LA" edition.  These sneakers, designed by Mr. Cartoon - a famous artist from Los Angeles, have a map of the city displayed through laser printing on the toe and on throughout the outer side of each shoe cover cities such as Compton, downtown LA, Santa Monica, and Long Beach.

I think the color scheme couldn't have been any better.  The white background of the shoe keeps true to the classic of the original Air Force 1, but the tan/gold/brownish color seen throughout the map and seam of the shoe gives sight to the brightness that LA sees throughout the day.

These shoes went quick when they were available for retail throughout stores in Los Angeles - but now that they are off the market and only in the hands of collectors, the price is definitely about to skyrocket only as time passes.  I'd say right now, a good price for these shoes at this point in the time is $160 and below.
