Five years inthe making and occupying an 8,000-square-foot gallery, Noah's Ark atthe Skirball welcomes children and familied. Inspired by the ancient flood story, which has parallels indiverse cultures around the world, this one-of-a-kind new destinationinvites visitors of all generations to have fun—and to connect with oneanother, learn the value of community, and help build a better world.  Inside a floor-to-ceiling wooden ark, filled to the rafters withwhimsical animals, you and your family will play, build, climb,explore, collaborate, and more.

Unique to the Noah's Ark experience are impromptu "happenings,"surprise interactions, and drop-in activities. While visiting thegalleries, meet a puppet, create a take-home art project, or hear astory. On weekends beginning May 17, enjoy a variety of outdoor performancesin the adjoining amphitheater. Finally, complete your visit byexperiencing the outdoor rainbow mist in the arroyo park just outsidethe galleries.

Timed entry is required for all visitors, including Skirball Members.Advance tickets are recommended. Same-day tickets are extremely limitedand are not available by phone or online. Advance tickets can bepurchased through the link above or by calling (310) 440-4500, or (877) SCC-4TIX or (877) 722-4849 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Service charges apply.

Noah's Ark at the Skirball is designed for generations to enjoy together. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.The required minimum adult/child ratio is 1 to 4. This policy will beenforced at the Admissions Desk when you claim your timed-entrytickets.

Ok, so wow, wow, and wow.  I'd heard great things, but this surpassed any expectations we had when we set out with toddlers in tow for a little museum fun on a Friday afternoon.        It's HUGE, for one - with multiple rooms and an absolutely enormous ark that is really cool.  There are so many points for the kids to interact, that we may not have even hit them all!  They re-create the storm, with all sorts of gadgets and gizmos that make thunder, lightening, …
