When it comes to tensions between countries, I do not care who's right or wrong or for whatever reasons the attacks were initiated for. As far as I'm concerned, both parties are in the wrong or are having problems which cannot be resolved for. It's kind of like a fight between a husband and wife, esp. with regard to the Koreans. Now, if you are a foreigner and trying to act like the police would as in family squabbles, you'd find that you had instead become their enemies!

Now, why do I even bother to write a review about this incident since I'm politically an idiot and one who has no interest whatsoever in politics? Not that I don't read about them, I simply concluded long time ago that politics are dirty no matter which angle you are looking from. The person with the most warfare power will emerge the winner. That's just the world of men as well as the law of natural selection. We women, I've better things to do than to argue days and nights with men about this. War games are what men love, so much so that thousands of computer games are based on that love!

Here's the reason why I offer my thought on this matter. Awhile back ago, while I was reading up some books on the Middle East as well as online research, I came across a site which prophecies about the future. As you may well know, the last year was filled with talks about 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar which prophecies about the end of our world. Since then, I have stayed alert when it comes to natural disasters as well as manmade disasters or regional tensions. Indeed we are now living in times of uncertainties and much instability. I cannot control what happens around me but at the least I try to prepare for the worst.

The 2 signs I was told to look out for from that site was tension in the Middle East, ie. a strike between Israel & Iran AND/OR a strike between North Korea & South Korea. This is the first sign I've seen since my mind has been "reengineered". I'm rating this as a -5 not because of the actual strike but rather that it might be the beginning of what we all dreaded; World War III. Oh no, I am not saying it is bound to happen, I'm just taking it that the symptom has been ignited. Just like a terminal illness will not come immediately, there are always tell tale signs. This could be one of those.

Hence, if you're like me who knows nothing about world politics but want to at least be ready should something serious turns out to affect your life one day in the future (despite it being thousands of miles away), look out for 2 hotspots. Iran & North Korea are the keywords. Stay ready!!! Look out for reports of these 2 hotspots. Even if no war is initiated, any bad news from these areas will bound to hit the world stock markets. In that regards, it does affect all of us!

Yeah, I don't know much about politics either and I was surprised to read that China didn't have that much clout over N. Korea after all. I am interested in what may happen to this issue, hopefully the U.S. will just stay away from this matter when or if it escalates. I dunno about the Mayan calendar thingie....I think it's all a hoax but hey, better be safe. Zombies may attack... ;)

The ideal would be nothing happens! Status Quo is fine as far as I'm concerned. Never go and wake up a sleeping cougar! ;-) Or one that has not eaten for quite awhile. Even a mice in that situation might bite you hard!
