I just bought an RV for the first time in my life this year. I had no idea what I was in for! Owning an RV is a complicated thing! You have to remember that you are driving around a house on wheels...more than just a large vehicle. Everything is contained in this beast: sewer, electrical system, water system, etc., so you also have to be a plumber, electrician, etc. to own an RV. THEN there is the fact that RV's aren't the most welcome in a city to park. They are made to be parked in an RV park.
I'm looking to stretch the limitations of an RV beyond the conventional notion of it...I figure others can contribute to this here.
Remember for those of you who are interested in owning RV's, the most common issue in the heat of summer travel is that your fuel pump will go. How does this look? your engine temperature will go up a little and consistently run a wee bit hot (not outside of normal, but on the hotter side) all of a sudden it will feel like the vehicle has lost power.
