The Best Plasma for the price and size!

I personally buy a lot of electronics and it's very rare for me to find a product that exceeds my expectations. So after reading many reviews, comparing and doing extensive research on what plasma tv to buy, I ended up getting this model plasma from Panasonic. This TV really looks fantastic... even right out of the box. But after tweaking the settings, the set simply looks amazing. Seeing is believing so if you get a chance to check this TV out at the store... do it. And if you decide to buy this plasma, make sure you set it up right to take advantage of all it has to offer. For example, if you hook it up to a DVD player, make sure you choose one that has HDMI output, progressive scan, and upscaling. Or if you have satellite television, get the HD package to make use of the HD resolution on this set. Otherwise there's no point in getting a HD TV unless you use it's features right? And if you don't use the HDMI input for the TV, it's not going to look as good as it could.

Pros: Brilliant Color, Great Contrast and Brightness. Lots of inputs including two HDMI inputs. SD slot for photo viewing. Built-in speaker is adequate ...especially for the price. Lots of manual custom settings available for adjusting picture. Price is a bargain for the quality that you get!

Cons: Resolution could be even higher... even though current resolution looks very good. Set is still pretty heavy... could be lighter for easier wall mounting. The remote control is bigger than it needs to be. But these are all minor complaints... I'm definitely knit picking :)

Conclusion: If you're looking for a high quality 42' Plasma, Buy this Set! It's worth every penny!

Note: if you're looking for a larger set, you might want to check out the Panasonic TH-58PX60U. It's very similar to this set except that it is 58' and has higher pixel resolution for the screen.
