Excellent music by Simon and Garfunkel. . .

. . .and the obvious development and growth from some of their earlier work. Of particular note:

Scarborough Fair/Canticle -- demonstrating wonderful talent, editing, and musical sensitivity

59th Street Bridge Song -- a long-time personal favorite of mine

For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her -- demonstrating Art's incredible, melodic and lyrical voice at its best

Seven O'Clock News/Silent Night -- regardless of one's politics, one can hardly fail to be moved at this well-sung, well-edited plea for peace

Arguably, one the the duo's better albums.
