   Rainbow Six follows the adventures Clancy's hero, John Clark, as he forms his own "super" special forces unit: Rainbow. Rainbow refers to the colors of the flags the international unit wears, and Six is a designation for unit leader. Taking the hint from the title, the book mostly follows Clark.
