The presidential bid of former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.
Former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania began a campaign for the 2012 Republican Party nomination for president of the United States in April 2011. He had been preparing for a run since shortly after the 2008 presidential election.
I'm not American, and don't live in the USA, but I would hate to see a religious nutter have control of such a powerful nation.
Here's an example of statements from 'ol Santorum (you probably know the alternate meaning by now): he said in an interview that women that were pregnant from rape should "accept the gift god has given them" and describing colleges as places of "liberal indoctrination"
This years Presidential Elections are certainly going to provide tons of morbid entertainment.

**I'm not American, and don't live in the USA, but I would hate to see a religious nutter have control of such a powerful nation.** Most Americans agree with you. It's the person who is so ambitious for the presidency that he will say anything and almost do anything, who appears to have no core values...those are the candidates who scare me.
