This debut album from a little known band called 'Eisley' is quite simply amazing. Just when we thought the era of bands who write and compose their own songs were gone, this band comes as a welcome surprise. Eisley's band members are comprised of mostly brothers and sisters... but with the whole family pitching in of course. An example is that the "Band Dad" is a graphic designer and does much of the artwork for the band.     But back to the topic of this Album, "Room Noises". …

This album was a pleasant surprise. The band is made up of a group of teenagers (siblings and a friend) who sound quite polished on this album, with a sound reminiscent of the Sundays and Cranberries. There is a consistency of material on this album, though I don't think adding a remix of Lost at Sea at the end was such a great idea (the original version is better suited to Eisley). The female vocals are well suited to the music and these young musicians are certainly filled with promise. There …
