Samsung  announced the availability of its new quad-core Exynos 5 Octa that powers the Galaxy S IV smartphone.The new processor actually features two kinds of CPU; four Cortex-A15 CPUs and another four Cortex-A7 ones, in an ARM big.LITTLE architecture. Samsung Electronics will become the fifth-largest stakeholder of its Japanese rival Sharp.
Samsung Electronics is going to be a 3% owner of Sharp. This will be carried out through the issuing of about 35.8 million new shares  to Samsung Electronics Japan. Pink GALAXY Note II Spotted on Samsung Taiwan Website.

For the first time in 14 years, Nokia will not be the top mobile phone brand. Instead, it is Samsung, who is expected to account for 29% of worldwide mobile phone shipments this year.
