The Santa Barbara International Marathon is a 26.2 mile running race in Central California. It also includes a relay option and half marathon.
The inaugural SBIM was in 2009 under the leadership of race directors Rusty and June Snow. That year, Carlos Handler won the men's division with a time of 2:24.48. Andrea McLarty won the women's race in 2:52.23.
