From IMDB: Sappho, a newly wed American wife, with her husband on the Greek island Lesbos, goes through the pain of unrequited love to a young woman, very much like the namesake poet in ancient times.
While Three is about gays & couples, Sappho is the other side of it; lesbians & couples. Again, another movie on TV. What is captivating with this kind of movies is one wonders how it will end. And since it's for free to watch, why not?!
Lots of sex scenes between the ladies as well as with the one man involved. Now, the setting is in Greece and the 2 actresses are actually quite attractive. I did feel like watching a very old movie for some reason until I read that it's a 2008 movie & one that's from Ukraine too. What a surprise that is!
I'm ok with people who have their own sexual inclination. But why that kind of ending? Beyond me... Still, a reasonable entertaining movie (if watched on TV, that is!).
