I love love love these scissors! Not only do they slice through numerous pieces of cardstock at once without putting any strain on the hand, they also cut through tiny slices of double stick tape without catching or becoming the least bit gummed up. Clean up is super easy- just wipe the blades down and any bits of sticky that might have gotten caught on the scissors come right off. My only tiny complaint is that cutting a perfectly straight line (based on the edge of the … more
We've gone through a lot of scissors in a few years. Kids' crafts, wrapping gifts, cutting fabric and sticky tape. They tend to get dull. This one cuts smooth, doesn't get sticky, and slices easily through everything you'd hope a pair of scissors would cut: cardboard, tape, plastic sheets, fabric. It seems to be solidly built and has a decent heft and a handy grip. I like the fact it's designed to stay sharp, and to avoid getting sticky. We're quite happy with it. By … more
Wow these scissors are AMAZING!!! These cut better than any scissors I have ever used before and the grip is soooo comfortable!!! If you need a pair of scissors these are TOP TOP TOP NOTCH!!! ***** HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION
As a lefty, I often become frustrated with scissors. I've had this pair for a week now, and find that it lives up to its billing. I used it to cut card stock and found the blades sharp and accurate, properly aligned with no gaps at any point between the blades. They were comfortable to use, which is saying something! Good product at a good price.
So far, I have been extremely pleased with the quality and ease-of-use this product provides. Especially when cutting heavy paper (cardstock) or fabric, this product offers good control, the length of the scissors adequate for most projects. I prefer longer blades for cutting, but I can adapt to the length easily enough. The non-stick feature is a great bonus- sticking becomes a problem when cutting tacky items. (For anyone using scissors on packing tape, the sticky residue eventually shortens the … more
I should say that I own many pairs of scissors and use them constantly. The Scotch Precision scissors are nice and work well on everything I've tried them on but fabric. For fabric, nothing beats Gingher--simply the best--but also very pricey. Other than on fabric, these perform very well. They are also very lightweight and comfortable in my hand. A very good price, too. So, I recommend them them for general use.

for the careful collagista or craftsperson, these 8" scissors are an excellent tool. The comfortable handles are designed to be used with either hand and the blades cut smoothly and with almost no effort. Lynn Hoffman, author The Short Course in Beer
I spend a lot of time crafting and I see that the right tool can make all of the difference. The scissors are smooth cutting and leave a clean edge on my paper. Goodbye to goo - the coating prevents the scissor from getting stuck and are easy to clean. I have had similar scissors, but in smaller sizes. These larger sized scissors (8.5" over all with 4" blades) is a better size for cutting straight lines on photos or any kind of paper, really. The handles are comfortable, … more
I'm left-handed, so finding a good pair of scissors that will work for me is difficult. I can go and pay extra for a pair that's designed for us southpaws or I can use a right-handed set. Neither of these options are satisfactory, however I occasionally, very rarely indeed, come to a third option: a pair that's made for both hands and works incredibly well. That would be these scissors. They're very comfortable for me in my hand. They're also quite sturdy and nice 'n' sharp, … more
The Scotch Precision Ultra Edge scissors are now my first choice for general household use. I am very impressed with their build quality, grip comfort and cutting ability. They slice through a wide range of materials with ease and induce very little hand fatigue as a result. The titanium coated blades do a good job or resisting sticky build-up when cutting through tape and glue, but if there is any residue, it's very easy to wipe off with a wet sponge. Even duct tape residue comes off with little … more
