If you are having trouble seeing your child and trying to teach them proper automobile manors while you are driving, you may want to give this learning See Me mirror from the Sunshine Kids a try. You can find this at most any place that sells toys, but we found ours at Toys R Us on clearance sale for only $3.99. I have seen these at all major appliance stores such as Meijer’s, Target, and K-Mart for just about the same price.

Description
This mirror is only 6" wide and 2" from the top to the bottom and about ½" thick, and only weighs 3.7 ounces. All of this whole mirror is one piece and has a 2” locking suction cup attached to the back. This will help you see your child in any direction without turning your head very much. The nice thing about this mirror is that this does not require batteries to operate properly, only a nice clean place to let it stick too. This mirror also has a locking lever, this will allow you to lock the suction cup in place so that it will not come loose in transit. The locking lever also will you to release the suction cup from what ever you are attaching it too. There is a 6-way ball, that the mirror is attached to, to let you have a multitude of angles to see your loved one in the back seat. The mirror that is attached to the front of this unit is not made of glass, it is made of plastic for safety reasons.

Experience
We have used this for several years and it has always done an excellent job. This has given us a perfect vision of our children for several hours while we are driving on long trips. When we were finished with our trip we would take this into the house and use it in the computer room to see if anyone is coming up to the front of the house. This does not need to be moistened to get it to stick. A clean dry surface is all that is needed to get this to stay in place. Once we were done this unit would go back to the spot where it was in the car. Each time that we would finish a long road trip, we would take this back in the house and reuse this over and over again.

Because this mirror is light, if you accidentally leave this in the sun light too long, the mirrors outer body will start to fade. Our children being so small and really did not understand that a road trip is supposed to be a happy trip and that quiet is of the most important thing while driving. If you should not use this for awhile then this should be put away after each use, to keep it in good shape for the next time. You will enjoy this immensely, just knowing that your children are happy while you are on the road, this will make you headache free. Our youngest grandchild has given us a run for our money, but we have yet to give into a one year old. We do have older children that can get a little upity in the car and even bored in the car while we are on a trip and this helps up keep an eye on them, but they continue to still play around and continue giving us a run for our money.

The manufacturer says that this is good for children of any age. But, I have found the older that your child gets the more bored they will soon get and the more that you will have to keep an eye on them. The funny thing of this mirror is that they forget that it is even in the car and you can catch them doing a lot of stuff that they are not supposed to be doing. This will only last for a little while, maybe just a couple of years. Until your child has learned how to be disciplined while in the car on long road trips. This mirror has given us years of use and this will come in handy for years to come.

Conclusion
As long as you do not expect miracles out of this mirror this should last forever, when teaching your child to learn to sit quiet and they will begin to tow the line. This is excellent for starting off and then who knows this may lead to solving more difficult child problems.
