These are standard dishwasher detergent tablets. They are coated, so they don't require individual plastic wrapping. If you've ever tried the ones that aren't coated, you know what a pain it is to unwrap each one. Plus, the wrapping heads right for the landfill, which doesn't help anyone.    I compared them to Cascade tablets, and found that they did just as good a job. We have hard water and our dishes were dull and didn't feel good due to mineral deposits. Using the first pouch of this product resulted in a *very* noticeable improvement. Our dishes are significantly smoother. We were previously using a dishwasher gel liquid from the same company, Seventh Generation.    The only downside of these packets is that you have no control over how much you put into each load.    I definitely intend to purchase this product again.

This is a a testament to how far green products have come...These are dish washer "single packs". They are convenient, they work and they are better for the planet.   First and foremost, they got our dishes clean without spotting. That is the most important, obviously. Because no matter how environmentally friendly a product is, if it doesn't work you're not going to buy it.  Cost-wise the price point is only slightly more than a non-green alternative. This is my first year of having a dishwasher in my house. I've been washing dishes by hand for most of my life so being able to not have to physically do this is wonderful. So I was excited to hear there are Pacs for dishwashers that also help the environment as well. Two for the price of 1.    I tested these pacs on two loads. I primarily purchase eco-friendly products for all my home cleaning needs. Seventh Generation supplies a good number of the things I use including bath and kitchen cleaners, laundry soap, paper towels and trash bags.
