Pros: See Review     Cons: N.O.D. and Macy Gray     The Bottom Line: Yes, there are some misses, most notably N.O.D. and Macy Gray, but overall Shaman is a masterful in its eclectic amalgamation of musical talent.      Collaboration was the hallmark of 1999’s Supernatural, the much talked about and hailed “comeback” album from Latin guitar player Carlos Santana. Some of the critics may find that Shaman was a dissappointing follow up to Supernatural. Howeer, Supernatural was just like its title, Super. It would have been nearly impossible for Carlos to top that fabulous effort.Nonetheless, Santana comes pretty darn close. The tracks do vary from the metal heavy America, to the slick hip hopping Supernatural to the Placido Domingo ballad Novus. All of those tunes are quite pleasing. There is plenty of passion on this record as well as displayed by such tracks …
