This book is for anyone who has no idea what it is like to lose a parent or close loved one to a long drawn out illness. Ms. Weithe talks about how she go on a plane to travel across country and to face her father's impending death. She explores all the questions she asked herself and describes how people became uncomfortable if she tried to ask about what to expect. She then offers insights and conclusions interspersed throughout the book.
Having lost my father in similar manner, I was able to connect with everything that the author went through. I would have been good to have a book like this before to prepare me for the experience!
