Yet another game in the Shiren series that will probably never see the light of the day in America or Europe. The quickest comparison to do would be the one with Shiren DS, which is the only game we got. This one has a multi-dungeon main story, perma-leveling allies, a day-night system that makes monsters much stronger during the night, and more. The story and characters are nothing to write home about (although Tao is cute): the best part of the game, the extra dungeons, are unlocked after clearing the main quest several times. Difficulty in the dungeons is very high, as usual, while the main quest alone can be eventually completed by grinding allies and equipment. An inexperienced player might need 30-35 hours for it, though.
I never played Shiren 4, but other players told me it's very similar, which might be why this game ended up selling much less. Can only milk the series so much before people get bored, uh?
Language barrier is not too high if you've played Shiren DS, because the base gameplay and common objects are the same. So it's a nice idea for people who might be thinking of importing.
