Trayvon Martin (February 5, 1995 – February 26, 2012) was an unarmed African American teenager who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a multiracial Hispanic man, in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman described the shooting as self-defense. Another example as to how certain individuals exploit a situation for their own means. When this happened most people only wanted a "trial" to get at the truth of what happened. Nobody was presuming guilt or innocence. Since then pundits on both sides have skewed this original thought to Zimmerman is being "presumed" guilty by "the Left" (never was the case) or that Martin "obviously" attacked Zimmerman and he had the right to defend himself by the "Right."
