Mirsad's book is a good supplement for any diet program
which sets forth goals to succeed and maintain weight
loss into the indefinite future. The book begins by
putting in place people and schedules to accomplish
the workout on a consistent basis.
At the outset, Mirsad explains the need to have a
workout partner who can continuously motivate you.
Next, he explains the importance of the "I must
philosophy" which prioritizes the workout as a
part of the daily schedule of things you do on
autopilot. The author encourages people to look for
mantras to achieve motivation. i.e. Get going!
The author explains the benefits of listening to music
as a calming motivator. In addition, some people are
motivated by inspirational stories like Mickey Mantle.
Most of all, Mirsad explains the necessity to time the
workout to 15 minutes or a doable amount of time so that
it's easy to do consistently.
The book explains the existence of smartphone apps like
Runkeeper which help systematize the workout even further.
Lastly, the author explains the psychology of working out
which should engender positive thinking, as well as building
a stronger body over time.
Mirsad's book is an excellent motivator for anyone just beginning
the process of systematizing a workout regimen.
