Bacc To Tha Chuuch, Volume 1 [Explicit]

This was an album released by Snoop's label to showcase his production skills and of course the talent on his label. Things mix well with mostly rap songs but also some R&B as well so there is something for everybody I think. of course this is a heavily west coast sounding album but there is also alot of old school prodcution on here as well.

.ACTION-this one kinda sounds more like Snoop's sound that he usually comes with but that is cool because the Twinz sound good over it. Each verse is good about the ladies and once more Snoop features this time on the hook. A good track but not the best but it has some good bass to it.

.ON THE FREEWAY-the Hustle Boyz return on what is one of the best tracks on the album. The beat for this one is crazy and really gets me hype when I hear, I would love to see a video for this one. Each verse is nice and they sound great over this instrumental, one of the best here.

.SHUT YOU DOWN-Snoop kicks this track off with the hook over his heavy instrumental has his new group gets down. The TC's are all over this track and sounding excellent over this beat. Another great track and a really good way to keep album running smoothly, nice gangsta type track to end things. Also Snoop gets down at the end of the song providing more than the hook.

.MAKIN LOVE-once again Snoop blesses us with a very old school R&B inspired production and this one seems flawless. Uncle Chucc sounds great on this track really making this one sound like it is straight out of the past. Snoop features on this one and sounds excellent on this track, sounds like his old self from Deathrow. This is easily the best track thus far.

.BLUED UP-first off I have to say that I love the production on this track, it kinda sounds old school a little. This track is labeled as Kurupt featuring Snoop Dogg but it is really just Snoop on this one. Still that is ok because the song is still nice although personally I have loved to hear the great Kurupt on this track. Snoop sounds good on his track but it is short.

.OVER YOU-this one is Chris Starr's track and his time to shine on the album, but I really don't get into this one. The beat is ok but kinda simplistic but it does have a nice guitar in it. The problem is when I hear this it just sounds like Starr is trying to hard to be Prince. This is an ok song, who knows you may get into it.

.I GOT HOMIEZ-the Raw Doggz return to lace another track for the Chuuch and once again it is a good track. The beat on this one is cool and kinda different which is good for this album. The Doggz kill this one like the last one with Snoop on the hook, another solid track for this album.

.DON'T BOTHER ME-once again The Hustle Boyz are back and once again they provide one of the best songs here. The production on here is absolutely excellent with a classical feel to it with pianos and cool bass. Each verse is great and the flows match the beat perfectly and the hook is perfect. Like the previous two tracks this could easily have a video and be a single.

.HIP HOP HOGGZ-Snoop returns over a great instrumental that sounds kinda familiar but I can't think of what. The beat is excellent on this track and really sounds like some night music as Snoop raps about riding on bikes. Boo Heff and K Macc both come nice on this track spittin about the same thing. This is actually a really good track, Snoop rapping about motorcycles.

.BACC SEAT LOVIN'-this track is by Snoop's new group the Hustle Boyz and do they come with a hit. This could easily be the single for the album with out a doubt, very easy on the ears. From the smooth production to the great verses through out the song this one could be a hit. Great start to the album.

.FLY AS I WANNA BE-Snoop comes with another type of beat on this one and it is a great change of pace with one of the better beats on here. Snoop features but this one stars The Raw Doggz and they kill it. This one is one of my favorites on here but Kurupt would have really destroyed this one. One of the best tracks on here easy.

.6 AM-this one sounds like it was a left over from Snoop's "Ego Trippin" album, especially since Snoop says it at the beginning of the track. The production for this one is great much like the rest of the album with an old school influence to it. Snoop sounds good on the track as does Chris Starr. Uncle Chucc sounds great on this track killing the hook, and Ray J sounds great as well. Another good track that has potential for a single.

.WE BE EUROPEAN-this is absolutely one of the best tracks on the album and once again it is provided by The Hustle Boyz. The instrumental for this one like the last is crazy catchy just like the song. The verse are excellent and the flows are great on this track. Snoop features on this one about going over seas. One of my favorite tracks on here.

.JUST ANOTHER DAY-Tha Twinz are back once again and spittin over Snoop's production creating another good song. This one also sounds like it has an old school twist to it so of course the production sounds great. Both artists sound good over this track, kinda miss them over Warren G's tracks. Chris Starr does his thing on the hook adding to the song.

.WOULDN'T BE HERE-oh yeah my boy Daz Dillinger comes nice on this one with Damani, Snoop also appears on this one. Damani lays the first verse out about how he is treated by the music video channels. Daz follows with the hook and a great verse over this nice instrumental. Snoop is up next with a nice verse about how he came up a little, his flow is great on this track.

.COMFORTABLE [REMIX] finally we have a Kurupt song on here and like I thought Kurupt kills it with a nice flow matching the beat. While Snoop's beat is not the best of the album it still is nice. Chris Starr is back doing the Hook and this time is actually borrowing from a Prince song, you will know it when you hear it. Nice song but the beat could have been better.

This like the other stuff Snoop has been putting out lately is pretty good with a few miss steps but over all good. Only thing is this album needed more Kurupt with out a doubt.
