Spider-Man (PSone) > Wiki
Spider-Man is an action video game based upon the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is loosely based on the 1990s Spider-Man: The Animated Series. The game was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. Released originally for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 in 2000, the game was subsequently ported to the Sega Dreamcast and PC. An alternate was also created for the Game Boy Color.

This was the definitive Spider-Man game that truly had you believeing that you were the wall-crawler; with a nice world to swing around and epic battles against his rogues gallery. The developers were clearly fans of the Spider-Man Universe as they accurately captured the personalitties of the characters. The battles with Mystery, Doctor Octopus, Venom etc, had the feel of the comic. The unlockable costumes feature was a nice add on.
