In a few ways, Star Wars Battlefront II is exactly what the first Star Wars Battlefront should have been. All those big space battles you wanted to pilot through in the first Battlefront are finally in the game, and you're finally granted the ability to play as certain characters in the Star Wars universe: Yes, you know you're going to get Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Luke Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but you also get occasional access to Yoda, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and Han …

This game series is simply, hands down, the most entertaining game series I have ever played -- with a caveat -- to get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of these games, you *must* play it in multi-player mode.    I have never had more fun playing a video game, than I have when this game (or its predecessor) with a buddy or two in either split-screen or system link mode.
