Being a child in the 90's, Steve Urkel was a common part of my life.  Hell, I even had that Urkel doll with the pull-string in the back that uttered his common sayings like "Did I do that?" and "Got any cheese?"  When I was a kid, I thought he was absolutely hilarious.  Now as an adult, I think his character in the first four seasons is still pretty funny, though in the later seasons, his character became too convoluted.

Looking at Urkel's character in retrospect, I wonder why Carl Winslow never gunned down Urkel in the show.
