STRANGERS by Dead Koontz, while not truly horror, was one of the most compelling books in his repertoire that I have read. I found that this book was more reminsicent of Stephen King's writing than Koontz's usual gore/scare style. This is one of my favorite books of all times. I read it for the first time when I was a teenager and became fascinated with Dean Koontz. I read all of his books in less than a year and this is definitely his best work. The way the characters are all strangers yet still interrelated and brought together is amazing.
