I'll be in Europe this winter and I plan on skiing in Switzerland. I'll be there the week after New Years and prefer less crowds. Experienced skier on a budget. Any tips or best places to go?

Interlaken and surrounding area have some excellent mountains so I'm sure you'll be able to find great slops there. Mannlichen is great for hiking but I'm not too sure if there are ski areas. I suggest you try googling it. There are quaint towns are Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. I especially like Wengen. It is quiet and beautiful in the summer. I'm sure you'll find some ski-slopes which suit your budget here.
I heard St. Moritz is great and even though I have been there, it's during the Summer. You can try finding out more information from VirtualTourist members who are residing in Europe or Switzerland. I'm sure they'll be able to help you with it.
