As much chlorine as a pool at the Y and the taste of rotten food

I wish I had something good to say about my tap water. This data point greatly varies of course, it was not bad at all in the last town where I lived. Our water here comes from a local river. Let's just say that during the industrial revolution that river had every known chemical dumped into it and has ex-factories lining its banks.
