Great bag for my Canon VIXIA HFS10 - holds everything I need!
Jul 10, 2009
This is an excellent little bag, that holds everything I need for my Canon VIXIA HFS10 camcorder, and leaves my equipment "room to breathe" while remaining compact.
There's a nice central pouch that has plenty of room for the camcorder itself and the DM-100 external mike. There are side pouches on either side that I use for cables, batteries, extra SDHC cards, and the optional battery charger. There's another pouch in the front where I put the adapter and plug. The strap is comfortable and the bag as a whole is durable but flexible. I've been very happy with it.
A minor caveat: like another reviewer I have thought it might be nice to have a zipper that connects the opening flap to the body of the bag, rather than having the front clip be the only connector. When I'm carrying the bag by the handle, it does "bob" up and down a bit because it lacks such a zipper. On the other hand - the lack of the zipper makes for easier access to the camera, and since I mostly carry the bag over my shoulder with the strap I don't often put any pressure on the bag where a zipper would help. Given that, I think I prefer the convenience of easy access to my equipment over the stability that would come when carrying with a handle if there were another zipper.
