I love Discworld. I especially love Granny Weatherwax. His imagination is superb and a wonderful place. He will truly be missed when he stops writing. i think he is contracted for two more books then he is retiring.

Good Omens cover
Terry Pratchett collaborated with Neil Gaiman to write Good Omens, one of the funnier books about the Apocalypse ever written.  This is a great book to read if you are potentially interested in either author -- if you don't like it, you probably won't like anything by either Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett.  His most popular series is called Discworld, with 36 books so far.  A great starter book in that series is Mort, about death's apprentice (more comedic than it sounds, that …
