Destined To Be A Christmas Classic

  • Dec 18, 2010

Meet Mr. Kloss, the village carpenter and Mrs. Kloss, who does sowing in the small Norway village. The couple calls each other Papa and Mama even though they have no children of their own. With what little money they have, Mr. Kloss spends on supplies to make toys for the village children.

Without spoiling it, this story explains Santa's reindeer, use of a sleigh and a sack of toys in most of the traditional images of Santa Claus. You will be caught up in the magical storytelling of Dan Davis combined with the vivid illustrations from Matthew S. Armstrong. I love this Benjamin Franklin Award-winning story and recommend it.
