Poor customer serivce - lousy exchange policy

This company has the worst return/exchange policy of any children's store I know. Their policy states items must have "tags attached" in order to return or exchange them. I can understand that policy for a return, but an exchange is another matter all together. Here's what happened. I purchased a pair of pants for my son for Xmas. Sometime after receiving the gift, and unbeknownst to me, my son went to try on the pants and removed the tags. He then came to me and said the pants were too small. Knowing … more

We're big fans of the Children's Place, especially for wardrobe staples and basics. Frequent sales, very good quality on most all items, good mix of trends and basics, and good online shopping interface. A step up from Target, definitely better quality than Old Navy, but not as pricey as Kids Gap or the like.
