A Supposed True Story, but One that reads Like a Fictional Short Story
May 17, 2010
I thou roughly enjoy reading Stephen Wagner's newsletter about all things paranormal. My favorite subject has always been tales of ghosts and haunted places. So naturally, the title of this story intrigued me. To me, it reads like something that would be published in a book of short, fictional, stories though. I mean, it's not at all detailed. In most accounts of hauntings you'll find detailed descriptions of the location, surrounding area, and probably most importantly, the fear element. The person who is supposedly relating this story doesn't even say anything like "This is a story my grandmother told me." True or not, it's kind of interesting in its way, and could very well be real, but I'm not betting on it.
