The Coleman brothers are made up of Greg, Michael and Denny Coleman and have followed in the footsteps of their father having played with his band in their very early years.  They hail from Montgomery TX and have appeared with some of country’s greatest – Willie Nelson, Ray Price and Louise Mandrell.  The brothers have two albums under their belts – “Back on the Farm” released in 2009 and “Down by the Fishing Hole” released in 2011.  They have celebrated successes in the singles “Beer Thirty” and “Back on the Farm”.

They are preparing to record a new album and one of the singles will be “Tribute to a Firefighter” which will also include a video now in production to honor the first-responders.

The single “Tribute to a Firefighter” is an excellent country music song about the job and life of a firefighter. The song calls out the on-call life of a firefighter and hero that will be there to save lives in spite of the risk to his own.  The music is flowing and reminiscent of Texas and western-style songs and is very pleasant to listen to and packs a huge statement!

The single is airing on more than 24 terrestrial and Internet stations and is seeing chart action, weighing in at #154 on MusicRow’s CountryBreakout chart and #78 on the New Music Weekly panel.

The State Firemen’s and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas (SFFMA) that supports the volunteer fire department through its Texas Wildfire Relief Fund (www.txwildfirerelief.org) has chosen to endorse the single and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to SFFMA.

We all know that firefighters are considered first responders not only to fires but a host of emergencies in life and any tribute that can be spoken or sung about them is important. If you’ve had a fire or emergency close to or in your house and you survived – thank a firefighter! I have!
