A Quick Tip by stormtamer

Plot Summary: The background is in the distant future after the destruction brought about by Armageddon. The war between the vampires and the humans continue to persist. In order to protect the humans from the vampires, Vatican has to rely on other allies to counter the situation. The protagonist, a priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans. However, he is also part of "Ax", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle and survival between the human race and the vampires. -ANN

Ok, I have to be honest, I was extremely bored and annoyed with this series. Visually it is pretty awesome, the music is Gothic and moody, but aside from those two things Trinity Blood doesn't have much going for it. I found the characters boring and whiny, which I can normally forgive in the first disc or so as long as I start seeing some nice character development, but that just doesn't happen here. The majority of female characters are helpless, whiny, and generally useless, while the majority of male characters don't seem to have any real roles aside from interesting extras whose skills come in handy during the last two or three episodes. Seriously, no one has a back story except for Abel, and his brother, and even that is pathetically weak. And then there is the Pope, who for some reason is something like fourteen years old (I'm guessing here. I don't know what his official age is but he definitely isn't an adult.)  and is afraid of literally everything. Admittedly, I'm probably missing something since I haven't read the manga, but Gonzo really disappointed me this time, which is highly unusual.

This looks like a prime example of "all surface and no substance." Thanks for the warning about this one, Stephanie.

Madpenguin saved me major $$ by avoiding this one. Seen Blood+ yet, Stephanie?

No...I think that's one I've decided to stay away from.
