Best Series I've Read In A While

These book really lets the reader imagine what the future maybe like. It discusses the path that our society is headed down, and makes the reader question whether or not we should change our lifestyle. I would recommend this book to reader ages 12-21. It is a great reader. It is not only science fiction, but also a love story. For me, it is hard for me to continue you reading books, but this is a series I could not put down. I was deeply engaged in this trilogy-plus-one. A far deeper look at how society changes when beauty and the alteration of the body becomes not only commonplace, not only normal, but in fact expected and standardized, than I would have ever expected from teen fiction.

A Quick Tip by MonikaWoods

My daughter checked "Uglies" out. It so intriqued me when I picked it up that I read it in one day. It is a great book for teens. The issue of being "ugly" or "pretty" is dealt with, but so is age, status, and censorship. Great read. I expect to read the other 2 books as well.
