The Verbatin Insight is an ok Hard Drive. I have a Seagate FreeAgent Go 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive-Black which I use as my main backup hard drive. I received my Verbatim portable hard drive the other day. It could not be simpler. I unboxed it, look at the directions, and plugged in the supplied USB cable to my PC and to the portable hard drive, then it synched up. That was it, now I could drag and drop files. I then went into "My Computer" clicked on the portable hard drive, clicked on the Nero Back-it Up program and it loaded on my PC. I then ran a full back up.
