Totally wicked!

Pros: 1. Very high "Wow!" factor - I had to fight off some really big guys at the office to hang on to possession. 2. Small, lightweight, sleek and shiny 3. Readout panel is always on, with or without power, so you can easily see how much space you have left. 4. Great Mac backup drive!

Yes, you need to backup your system before it crashes (and no one ever does.) I was looking for a lightweight hard drive with some real capacity, but which would work as effortless as my Macbook Pro. The Verbatim Insight is simply excellent in every respect. Easy to install. Backs up my info with no problem and with space to spare. Easy to partition. Just easy to use, and gorgeous to boot. Perfect Portable Hard Drive

The Verbatim insight is a very small hard drive with all the features you'd want in a portable external HD: It is light it is thin (fit without problem in the side pocket of my netbook's neoprene case) It powers itself off of USB (no extra cords to carry or outlet to find) It is quiet With a glance you can see the total amount of space remaining on the always-on LCD. Works ok, but slow, skip the software

The Verbatin Insight is an ok Hard Drive. I have a Seagate FreeAgent Go 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive-Black which I use as my main backup hard drive. Thus, the Verbatin will be serving me as the hard drive I take when I travel. The drive looks very sleek with it's curved, glossy and elegant exterior. I cannot think of a single negative

I received my Verbatim portable hard drive the other day. It could not be simpler. I unboxed it, look at the directions, and plugged in the supplied USB cable to my PC and to the portable hard drive, then it synched up. That was it, now I could drag and drop files. I then went into "My Computer" clicked on the portable hard drive, clicked on the Nero Back-it Up program and it loaded on my PC. I then ran a full back up.
