Vision Bedding specializes in custom bedding, allowing customers to either select from over 12 million stock photos or upload their own.

At first, I thought that custom printing options would be more inclined to waste materials rather than conserve them. But a friend urged me to give them a try and do some research of my own.

What I found was quite surprising. While nothing can beat a homemade quilt or blanket, sometimes it's necessary to purchase a quilt or blanket from a store. Vision Bedding follows ethical practices and manufactures the goods all within the United States, using high quality and sustainable products.

As to the quality, I was definitely impressed. We ordered a blanket, comforter, and sheets for my children. For some, we used the stock photography that they supplied and, for our artistic son, we used his own artwork to design his bedroom. The pictures were all precisely like the images on the site, minus the watermarking. My son's art work which we put into the system also came out with stellar beauty. I was very impressed. If you hang up the sheet, it looks just like a picture until you touch it.

As for price, it was a little more expensive than what we would have paid in a department store. But once again, the quality speaks for itself. We won't have to replace them any time soon, and that results in savings for both the environment and our pockets as well.

As for their service and speed, that was also good. They were quite courteous to me when I had to call and explain about a little mishap that we had had, and when everything had been straightened out, we received our bedding far sooner than we anticipated.

The other really cool feature though is that Vision Bedding allows you to design or "create a room" on their site. The picture I included is the pre design of my eldest daughter's new room. As you can see, she adores the rainforest.

My kids were delighted. My husband and I are considering turning our own bedroom into romantic love nest. We'll be recycling and refurbishing a lot of the items we already have, but we're going to splurge on sheets this time too.
