Westwood is better at the art of swindling than providing quality education. I thankfully dodged this giant bullet when I decided to get admitted to Purdue University Calumet instead of Westwood (Calumet City campus).
Now the swindling comes in when Westwood has lied to prospective students by telling them they were in the process of accreditation, and around 2009-2010, Westwood dropped out of the accreditation process, but many students wound up thousands and thousands of dollars in debt and can't get in the businesses they wanted to get in because their degrees are worthless.
Westwood isn't alone in this, since so many for-profit colleges focus more on marketing and sucking students into debt than providing quality education that'll advance their graduates' lives. Of course, not everyone can go to a prestigious university like Purdue, Notre Dame, and Rose Hulman, but at least a public community college will be much less likely to suck you into the intense magnitude of debt that a place like Westwood will drag you into.
