Here is my recipe for the Whiskey Sour:

Whiskey Sour
1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 1/2 oz lemon juice 3/4 oz
1 tsp simple sugar
1 Maraschino Cherry

Pour the bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into a metal shaker with ice cubes.
Shake until the shaker chills Strain into a chilled glencairn glass.
Garnish with the cherry.

It is hard to beat a whiskey sour after a hard day at work. I just lay in my hammock and the wonderful tart flavour just chases the blues away!
