Carter's Chord are a "Wild" Combination

As a reviewer, the first thing I do is make a list of all the songs on a CD and star the ones that I think stand out.  I had every song stared for the sister trio Carter's Chord.  The daughters of former Waylon Jennings bandmates provide their amazing harmonies on this six-song EP.  Released on Toby Keith's Show Dog record label, this CD should act as a warning sign to the industry that Carter's Chord are out to kill.  The trio released an album back in 2008 that didn't make it big, but with what I am hearing on the CD I think that this EP will be able to get them to the top of the charts.  They have a Miranda Lambert/Julianne Hough vibe to 'em with Little Big Town and Gloriana harmonies.  I highly recommend picking up a copy of this EP!
  • "Wild Together" is a song with a mid-tempo beat.  Instantly I feel like I am hearing Julianne Hough when they start singing.  It tells the story of a relationship and deciding how to handle it.  Should they just play it safe or be "wild together"?  Just get out there and chase your dreams!  In the end, they choose to be the next Bonnie and Clyde and be "Wild Together".
  • "A Little Less Comfortable" - This is one of the slower songs on the CD.  It tells how the relationship started out with having absolutely no money.  Even though they didn't have a lot, they were happy.  Why not go back to those beginning days when the relationship was so happy?
Standout Track - I cannot pick just one!  EVERY song is amazing!  If you can only afford one song, listen to previews and pick your favorite, but I think every song is worth getting!
