Instrumental Prowess With Less Defined Melodies

  • Feb 5, 2005
Rating:
+1
Sorry this CD falls short of its predecessor Blow by Blow. There are several good jams particularly on Blue Wind and Sophie. Jeff is certainly on top of his game with the guitar. The keyboards are decent as well although I prefer Max Middleton's touches from the Blow by Blow CD.

Nonetheless, Jeff Beck's talents certainly make this CD at least a reasonable listen if not an overwhelming joy.
