Wool socks aren't something I think about a lot, but ziggy's post today (at http://su.pr/2GHjqg) sang their praises for natural warmth and repelling water. A user on Twitter gave a big thumbs up to Smart Wool's socks. Yeah, we've got several different brands of organic wool socks listed in the comparison engine, but I'd love to know: which ones do you like? Think wool's the best material available for keeping the feet warm?

I don't have any particular brand in mind, but yes, wool is the best for feet! I have what I would call 'chronically frozen feet'. Always. Cold. From September to May. I can't live without merino socks! I have a few pairs that I got at a Marshall's I believe, for a good deal. I wear them all through the winter. Good stuff. Same for anything wool really, just not the 'processed' wool that's mass produced and really itchy.
