AMD to Sell 58-acre Campus to Raise Cash
AMD is not doing so good at the moment. In October, the company reported losses of US$157 million and a 10% drop in revenue. Now, AMD is said to be planning on selling its massive 58-acre Lone Star campus in Austin, Texas. Such a sale would probably raise around US$200 million. iPad Leads Black Friday Sales Revenue from Mobile Devices
Online sales during Black Friday are up 26% compared to last year. According to comscore, 16.3% of Black Friday's US$1.04 billion online sales revenue came from mobile devices. IBM's Analytics Benchmark tool found that Apple's iPad led the way in terms of sales of mobile devices. Beware, the Rise of Malware Spams!
According to a study released by Kaspersky Lab, there is a rise of malware that is disguised as fake e-mail advertisements and notifications. These malicious emails are designed to look like official coupon service notifications. One email which looked like a promotional notification from Groupon, which also carried links to the Groupon website, included an attached ZIP file called Gift Coupon.
