This old dog has difficulty learning new tricks. It's all I can do to remember how to stick photos at the bottom of a review. I just recently realized I can choose more than four photos

Ha, that's funny. I'm sure you can figure it out.  I get the "embed code" from YouTube, like a Fred Astaire tapdance or something, then paste it in the little box that I get when I click the little "film strip" picture.  :)

For Lunch reviews, I always do. Since that feature is available, I take full advantage of it! Utilizing media in your reviews gives readers something visual other than words and is a good way to keeping them engaged while reading. Plus, it makes your reviews pretty to look at ;)  It doesn't just have to be videos and pictures either.  One time, I even embedded a code for a video game in my Pac-Man review.  There are a lot of ways in which you can play with this feature.

I've started to lately, not all the time though and it depends on the review.

I do as much as possible or when it's relevant. If I'm reviewing an artist, a TV show or a movie, it helps to add some media, so that the reader knows what you're reviewing. I agree with @devora, that you might as well take advantage of what's available, especially if it helps Lunchers understand what you're talking about! It's good to give them a taste and then, share your opinion. I believe it makes reviews more interesting. Having said that, sometimes I just write a text review, like my review on Celestial Seasonings Green Tea, because what kind of media could you include on tea that would prove incredibly helpful to Lunchers?

When I first came to Lunch.com, I tried the video features but they were constantly disappearing, leaving large blank boxes in my reviews, which was no fun. I still hesitate to do so as they just don't stick. Some sites don't accept links with videos or images, so you just have to hope they stick. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I can sometimes use my own videos and pix from www.photobucket.com and those will stick since they come from me!
